My Grandfather left me these many years ago, and they were given to me on my 21st birthday. The smaller speed master came in a box with a guarantee dated 1979, the other came without anything. Below are the pictures, if you could help identify them and give a rough estimate on their worth that would extremely helpful! The first: The Second:
You're right! I searched the reference number and found that it was a Mark 4.5 176.0012, still no idea what the other one is though
Looks similar but I'm not entirely sure because tthe ones I'm comparing it to on Ebay don't have the yellow lines on the face that this one has

The Mk 4.5 looks to be in very nice condition with original crystal, dial and hands. You can still see the brushed finish on the case and has an original bracelet too which is good. The engraving on the case back might affect the value a little. Prices are all over the place for these and there are always a few of them for sale at any one time. You need the movement serial number to date it but it's probably a couple of years before the date on the case back. Do you know its service history? Value if it is running properly with a service is anywhere from 1500 - 1900 from what I've seen on the bay over the last few months. Nice heirloom, here is mine.
Thank you! I have no idea what its service history is, but I think I'll take them both somewhere to get them checked and/or certified original.
Make sure you find the right guy to service those. Ask on the forum if anyone knows of a reliable watchmaker in your area and DO NOT polish them or replace anything that is not absolutely necessary
Mkelley has answered it, it just an aging sign of otherwise white luminous material for hour markers. It is indeed a reduced Speedmaster. A nice and more convinience version Speedmaster Pro moonwatch. This is short article in Fratellowatches discussing the item: http://www.fratellowatches.com/spee...ed-versus-speedmaster-professional-moonwatch/
Better than doing a Mike which usually has at least 2 of everything, you can do a Spacefruit.......with at least a dozen for each model . See his Speedy pro vintage.
