Need help identifying my inherited Seamaster

I love thick lugged bumpers though I do believe it has a redial. Ask the watchmaker for the case reference. This is the number on the inside of the case back. Post some photos when you get it back from the watchmaker!

Yeah I forgot to get one of the back of the case (newbie mistake) but I did get a low quality of the movement (dam phone cam cant focus properly) and I have the movement serial and it shows 1952.

It's interesting, on the omega vintage site it says that only 3 watches have the 354 cal and made in 1952, two "US Collection" and one Constellation. Anyone know what the "US Collection" means?

Yes. It means that model was only sold in the USA.

It most likely is the original dial, as in the disc of brass that originally came with the watch, but it has been re-painted/re-inked.

Ahhh ok well I'm excited to see how he does with this watch and an old tissot carrousel
