Could someone please tell me what this part is called or part number? I believe one of the teeth on the gear is broken causing the watch to run slowly, so need to look for a replacement but my watchmaker doesn't speak English so looking for the exact name of the part - it's the "middle gear for the scales"

Thanks!

In the first pictures, cannon pinion on the left and hour wheel on the right.

The cannon pinion presses onto the second wheel which protrudes through the plate (right in the middle) and brings the drive from the rear side of the plate. In your third picture, it appears that the second wheel has broken off close to the plate so there is nothing to press the cannon pinion on to. If it has, the other part will likely be stuck in your blind cannon pinion and will be very difficult to remove.

You need a second wheel and a cannon pinion, as a minimum. They are sometimes sold as a matched pair.

Cheers, Chris

26.50 is a Cal. 410 in Omega's modern numbering system. As Chris says, what you require is the center wheel and cannon pinion. The part number and description is:

72204101224 | CENTRE WHEEL WITH CAN. PINION, H 5.17 MM

These parts are long discontinued, so Omega doesn't sell them any longer.

My spare parts list for 26.5 T3 lists two... 100-1224 at 5.97 and 100-1225 at 6.32. 26.5 SOB is only 100-1224.
