    Hi,

I recently inherited this omega watch and am having trouble finding anything similar online. The back of the case reads 'the omega museum collection' 'number one collectors series'.

If anyone could help point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Tom

Not liking that at all. There was a museum collectors series that included an onion crown pilots watch but that looks like a fake to me.

All of the museum variations I've seen were numbered, e.g.: 2/100.

The word "collectors" is missing the possessive apostrophe.

Issue Number One of the museum series was the Pilot watch.

I'm doubtful that this is genuine.

Only a check of the inside will reveal the truth.

The poor quality of the folded link bracelet is another concern. Omega bracelets weren't made like that after the mid 1980s, if you ignore the still available 1171 and 1125 throwbacks!

I am now 99% sure it is fake plain and simple.

Nothing about that watch looks right and my gut reaction was fake.

But, these 'museum' collections can be a bit weird. I still it's it's highly likely to be fake but get the back off and see the movement to make sure.
