I recently found a really nice looking piece at an estate sale, but do not know anything about it other than it was a great deal for what it is, it is 4 different colors of 14k gold, and it was in amazing shape. Can anyone help? 20240508_154154.jpg 20240508_154137.jpg 20240508_154012.jpg 20240508_154009.jpg 20240508_153949.jpg 20240508_153947.jpg 20240508_153910.jpg 20240508_153500.jpg 20240508_153814.jpg 20240508_153735.jpg 20240508_153659.jpg 20240508_153838.jpg 20240508_154041.jpg 20240508_154004.jpg 20240508_153903.jpg

That’s a beautifully finished solid gold pocket watch, there isn’t much market for them so most are worth just a bit more than melt value but that’s one of the most intricately engraved Omega examples I’ve seen. Taking good photos and listing it in a no reserve auction somewhere would be your best bet unless you want to hold onto it for sentimental value but due to the fact that nobody wears pocket watches these days it won’t be much more than gold scrap value sadly.

Omega movement/dial/hands cased in the US in the gold case by Brooklyn Watch Case Company, probably about 1905 or so.

@Canuck explained this style of case a while ago, maybe he can elaborate.
