Help Identifying and Valuing a Special Edition Omega DeVille

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I recently found another watch of my father's—an special edition Omega DeVille. He was on the board of a company that was part of Eni Libya, which originally was Cori, then Agip North Africa & Middle East, and later Eni Oil Ltd., now Mellitah Oil & Gas.

I'm not exactly sure when he received the watch, but I suspect it might have been in the late '90s. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact model or its value.

Could anyone help me identify the specific model and estimate its worth?

Thanks so much for your assistance!

I don't think the Agip branding adds a lot to what is otherwise a pretty run of the mill quartz watch. At a guess, if you found a big fan of the brand it might make $200-300 on ebay but otherwise less being as it is plated and not solid gold. Regarding date, I'd put it at nearer late 1980s-1990. The serial and model ref will be found inside the caseback.

I note on your similar previous query you have deleted the pictures. Don't do that if you want people to help you, it's annoying and marks you out as plain dodgy or with something to hide.

Thank you for your response and for pointing that out. The truth is, I’m not concerned with anyone’s opinion. I have photos of my father wearing all the watches I posted, and I also have a photo with him. I have everything that proves I am the owner of the watches. The reason I deleted the photos is that I don't want my posts to remain up. My only purpose was to inquire and get information. Since there is no option to delete the post, I’m editing the photos instead, and I hope you will do the same.

Maybe you should find another forum.

This forum is about sharing information for everyone, it's not your personal google.

The real question is what is this?

The idea here is to share information and photos. That is why links to auctions are frowned upong. Years later someone may have the same question.

It gets really annoying when one does a search and all there is is me too, I have the same question.

This forum is also worldwide. So deleting images is unfair to those in a different time zone.

I happen to collect and self service early quartz, So it is always nice to learn more about them.

Nope I won’t be doing that and if that’s how you feel I suggest you jog on. Oh and don’t let the door catch your arse on the way out. The price you pay for the ‘free’ expert opinions you crave is that others may learn too. You’ve confirmed my earlier suspicions that you are a chancer. I thank you for that.
