Need help further identifying this watch. I purchased for $165 - is that a fair price? It might not be in working condition - where can I find parts for this? I know it's a Seamaster 1430 but that's about it.

The 1430 is an ETA 255.412 movement and that is easier to find parts for? But you probably would just swap the movement if the one you have in your watch doesn't work?

Do you know how much something like this is worth?

You over paid JC quartz watches are not a great investment especially ones that are not working. As it stands £40-£60
You can get the parts from Cousins.UK .

I'm fairly new to watches and I like working on projects. Omega has a lot of history and want to restore one if possible. Will be returning this item. Appreciate the heads up on this.

Just out of interest. If you bought the watch at an agreed price, knowing it was possibly not working, on what grounds can you return it?
