Need Help Finding Proper Bracelet For '69 Speedmaster.

I posted another thread here where I received much help:
http://omegaforums.net/threads/inherited-an-omega-speedmaster-professional-from-father.4733/

I have another question: What bracelet should I get? In the previous thread it was said that the 1171 bracelet fits it. However, both Nesbit's and Al Archer have said they cannot guarantee it fits because it is not listed on the Omega Extranet as a bracelet that goes with the 145022 case.

Here's the info:
861 Movement
S/N 30392799
Case # 145022-69

Al Archer says these are supported(as stated on the Extranet): 1498-840, 1998-840, and 1998-849 bracelets.

I do see elsewhere ofrei.com that the 1171 may work, though:
Omega Speedmaster Bracelet 1171-000
with End Piece 633 to Fit Omega Bracelet 1171-000, Sold by the pair fits case # 145.022(mine, right?)

Any help in narrowing down the bracelet would be appreciated. The Extranet-recommended bracelets are about $800. I don't feel like paying that at this point.

The 1171 does fit, its just more of a vintage option. The 1171 with 633 endlinks was used on the 145.022 after the 1039 went out of production

you can find the 1171 for $300-$400 at watchco australia and ofrei, or you can hunt on ebay. I just picked one up second hand for $200 (currently stuck at LAX on the way from Hawaii)

I don't think the bracelet is doing much 'fact finding'!

The correct bracelet would be a 1039. There are usually a few available on ebay, but in good condition they sell for $500 and up. Buying a used 1171 is the most economical way to go.

Here are two photos of my 145.022 68ST fitted with an 1171/1 and 633 end links. It looks fine. As you can see there should be no problems with it fitting at all.

Will 1175 fit? These can be bought very reasonably
and look very similar to the 1039. I think I have seen
some 68,69,70 Speedmasters for sale with 1175's?
