Have you checked everything against MWO or Speedmaster101?

    What are your thoughts?

As far as I see, it has an HF case (no facets) and a -66 CB caseback... So there is already a problem...

Unless they have been polished off maybe? That is quite common so I hear.

I can't quite make out the serial, but if it is as it appears to me 26m then that is a bit late for a -66 which is a red flag. If it is in fact 25.44m then it is fine.

Could be a CB case whose lugs have been polished/shortened to elimate the flat tops.

(some) facets are still (barely) there.

but the case appears to be heavily polished :whistling:

Still, I like the rusty lume on this one :)

I found the listing on Chrono24 and seller says the case has been polished so that might explain the missing facets.

According to the listing, the serial number is 25,445,XXX and the watch comes with an extract.

Besides the polished case, the hands, dial and bezel look pretty good.

I understand your question. I'm currently travelling and unfortunately MWO is not that portable... I will check Speedmaster 101 thx for this.
The watch popped up this morning. I like the condition of the bezel and do like the lume but I don't know yet if I can go along with the polished status.

CB versus HF case question: It's not just the facet lines that have to be considered. The difference in lug shape is also an important factor and means that 105.012-66 cases aren't so difficult to identify due to over polishing.

Check out the lugs of the HF and CB cases, side by side, in the 105.012-66 section of this page: http://speedmaster101.com/105-012/
The outside facets on the lugs of the HF case has a slimmer, more parallel, shape than the lugs of the CB case.

Happy to be corrected,::shy:: but the watch in question looks (to me) like an over polished CB case.

I'm with @kov on this one. The case is a CB (clear to see via the light-differences where the CB facets (lower lugs) are)...however (and regarding the 'polishing')...the pictures are (horrrrible and) taken with a very narrow depth of field, the dial being in focus, so everything further than +/- 1mm from the dial is out of focus (thus blurred, the further way from the dial, the more its blurred) -> the actual facets going down the lugs look sharp to me (those on the left more than the right -> could be that with narrow depth of field AND the lense not being 100% parallel to the dial, the left lugs are closer to the camera than the right, so more in focus), and in no way soft.

That's a CB mid case, just worn and polished.

You can tell by the larger facets on the underside of the lugs ends.
