    Hello all,

I have a 2531.80 that I bought on ebay back in 2007 I believe without papers. I want to sell it but here is the deal. There is no number on the case. I sent it to Omega (Swatch) in 2008 and it had a complete overhaul. I paid $500. It came back in a soft case with a card with a serial number 81xxxxxx. I know it is a good watch, it has run great since, but I am not sure how to market it since there is no number on the case and no papers. My reading indicates that it should be worth about 1400. Any comments on how to get best value while setting a buyer at ease?

    Thank you,

Pounds, dollars or Euros, condition of the watch? Pictures for evaluation?
Try it on eBay on an auction with good pictures, receipts for any work carried out helps the sale. Be honest with your description is my best advice to you.

Probably polished off the case but serial is still on movement so Omega still serviced it.

It's all about retaining the paperwork. If you can produce that!

$1400 for a 2531.80. Mine went for more, considerably more..

I concur. That is one paper trail you want to have.
