Yes that is the plan. The hands that were on it were certainly not suited to the era of this watch.

I would fill in luminous material where it should sit - obvious gaps at the end of the markers - so it would not be a re-dial "at first sight"...
otherwise a nice dial.

Obvious redial but appears pleasant to the eye - certainly a significant improvement over its previous state.

Have it all together (with hands that my client supplied) and will be checking the timing...I think it looks pretty good compared to what it did originally:

Actually looks better in person than in photos. No lume on the dial yet - will talk to my client about this to see what he prefers, bur for now at least I can get it timed out...

Cheers, Al

Interesting, ref 2996 is typically for a Ranchero, although I believe it was also used for some Seamasters.

Your dial with raised and not applied figures looks appropriate for a Seamaster of this ref.

Here are two versions from AJTT. I'm not to convinced that the second example is original.

Mine is very similar to #2

Much improved.. I have a 14900 with a similar problem.. Would you care to comment on who did the work? Do you have a local redialer in Canada? or did you send it to International Dial in the U.S.?
