Worcester cathedral has pair of nesting peregrine falcons with chicks. They return almost every year, so they’ve installed a webcam. They’re about 100 ft up, so close enough for my 600mm lens.

Great shots!! Could hear the distinctive calls of Peregrines at the Barbican the other, they're also nesting but didn't get to see them.

I read an article about this, recently. The number of breeding pairs of peregrines, in Greater London, has increased ten-fold in 25 years. The only other city that has more urban peregrines is New York.

Yes.. it's incredible, the fastest animal on earth, and they're now a regular sighting in central London and the City, on top of churches, old power stations like the Tate Modern chimney etc. they are the perfect artificial cliff tops.. And of course dinner plump (plump-breasted feral pigeons) everywhere👍

I am told these are dead horse plants. The spread all over the yard. At least the blooms only last a couple days.

.. sort of ..all of them have fledged and gone to a nice big safe tree, apart from one little fella remains.. In fact it's now the second day and his favourite spot is sitting on one of my old boots, which is acting as a perfect latrine😒

Haha, I was close enough! I was barely keeping my 90-lb dog Max under control at that distance.
