Had the pleasure of skydiving in Titusville during a shuttle launch in the ‘90s. It’d be nice to get that tradition back up and running on a regular basis.

Unless you live on the California coast, Hawaii, Northern Arizona, Colorado, Nevada or New Mexico, you are looking at bad weather close to 50% of the time.

Good choice of watches but I am still not sold on the suit aesthetics (I am sure the function is sound). Showing my age mission control has also lost a bit of old world charm in the Ipad age. Looking at all the black masks, maybe they could have got more creative (just for sh-ts and giggles - one suggestion below:0) - I grabbed a few screen shots / awesome free to view coverage.

Nasa to launch first crewed mission from US in decade – Pad 39A
Nasa opening its crew doors again.

Anyone else excited to finally see a crewed launch from Kennedy Space Centre?

The rocket and the spacecraft it is carrying are due to take off from Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre on 27 May, taking two astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).
Both the rocket and spacecraft were developed by private company SpaceX.
Nasa has been using Russian rockets for crewed flights since its space shuttle was retired in 2011 after STS-135. The Falcon Nine rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft will take off from the space centre’s historic Pad 39A, the same one used for the Apollo and shuttle missions with astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley on board.

Walking out of the famous crew checkout door to other worlds – Apollo 11, Apollo 12, Skylab 4, STS-1,STS -135… so many amazing missions – Good luck and Godspeed guys.

Now what watches are those guys wearing…..
I thought I better add the 'doors' shot :0)

I'm not mad about the suits either, but Molly and I do appreciate a good, trouble-free docking!

A very successful day / god speed for the return trip. A few more smiling faces on the team shot would not hurt :0)
Great to see a safe docking and all aboard. Mission control looking more like the old days as well (Thanks NASA TV)

I hope that dog fared better than the dogstronaut named Theodore in Space Force (Netflix Episode 2).

I want NASA to switch to the 3rd Gen, so I can feel more special with mine.
