Digging through what NASA claims is the complete image collection for the entire Apollo project (I am sure they omitted the pictures of the green moon aliens.... ;-) ) I found a few pictures that would interest Omega fans. Some of these images have been seen many times before and some not.... I am only half way through the images (there are a lot!) but so far I can only spot Speedmasters... not a Rolex in sight ;-) AS11-36-5390 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS11-36-5396 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS11-40-5903 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-46-6729 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-48-7071 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-48-7136 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-49-7278 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-49-7281 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-49-7306 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-47-6913 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-47-6914 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-48-7071 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-48-7136 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-49-7278 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS12-49-7281 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr Apollo 13 mission AS13-59-8483 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS13-59-8484 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS13-59-8488 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS15-85-11439 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS15-90-12224 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr AS15-90-12235 by Project Apollo Archive, on Flickr
This is a marvelous collection of photos, which are now easier than ever to access. I had been rooting through the "mother lode" of archived images on a nasa.gov server, but it was tough going due to the way the images are organized and presented there. Thanks for presenting this source here. @Joe K. lf you come across any images you feel are particularly share-worthy, it'd be awesome if you could post 'em on this thread where we have a rather eclectic collection of watch-themed images from the NASA archives: https://omegaforums.net/threads/hidden-gems-from-the-nasa-photo-archive.27812/
@Joe K. -- the repository I was sifting through does have quite a few photos of Buzz Aldrin wearing Rolexes during pre-flight training.

I was already searching for good pics of "Speedys in Space" so thank you very much for the great collection!
Those are certainly the russian spacesuits - you can tell by the bent over posture of the astro/cosmonauts! They are made for sitting in the capsule, that's why they look like that.
