This was a fun watch. The quality is a huge step up from the grainy black and white Apollo television broadcasts.

Definitely a lot more enjoyable seeing it in HD, not to mention the live feeds with multiple camera angles inside the cabin and outside of the space craft. The pictures getting beamed back in real time are amazing.

Sure is messy in there. Apollo 11 was much tidier 😁.

What do we saw thus far wrist-watch wise ?
Three Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute 24 hours dial/movement versions
Four Omega X-33 on long straps stayed with the orange space suits, while at least two other astronauts (Glover & Koch) wear one X-33 on a bracelet. So six Omega X-33 at least.
On Speedytuesday 7 April they will be on the Far Side of the Moon, what Omega marketing always called the Dark Side of the Moon, but we all know each spot on the Moon (except outer poles) sits 14 days in Sunlight and 14 days in dark shadow! #Moonwatchuniverse

For those of you enjoying the views I would highly recommend the Apollo Remastered and Gemini/Mercury Remastered books.

The images are stunning and it is very interesting to see so many parallels between the early Apollo missions and Artemis II.

Half-way distance to flying around the Moon and RJ at Fratellowatches has made a superb fully detailed update:
#Speedytuesday April 7, 2026 the spacecraft will have passed at the Far Side of the Moon with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen wearing an Omega Speedmaster "Dark Side on the Moon" at the wrist... Epic !

This was from 80,000 miles away. Getting bigger by the minute. Still amazed at the details they are picking up with these cameras and beaming back in real time.

Next few days are going to be epic!

Will Ferrero use it for advertisement? 😁

Surely they learn from Omega's example and base the next 50+ years of their branding on this.

The official NASA website has a nice gallery of pics and videos. USA Today has multiple galleries, thinking from each daily upload from NASA, which has a lot of pictures.

Sure there's others out there but these have been great so far:
