Because we all want to fund that next purchase, I checked to see if Relide.com was free. Certainly not free, but available for $9,700 馃槵

Have we mentioned Minerva yet?

There are a number of brands where the name and logo have been bought, and after a significant period of brand death, the corpse was raised and a new company was born, but with current products that do not hark back to earlier times. A bit of money substitutes for some old body parts and focused lightning. Perhaps these are the real "Frankenwatches." 馃槈

Not only Enicar, but Angelus and Marvin come to mind in addition to others which have been mentioned here earlier on.

Ferrero SA. Haven't seen anything from them after the 20s.
they are too busy making Nutella 馃槣

Seriously, Ferrero has probably bought the rights or will sue anyone to oblivion trying to release watches with that brand name.

Also, Excelsior Park has not been revived, although they were mainly supplying movements to other companies.

Ferrero Rochet? I would not be surprised! I always wondered if they were related.

Nivrel died long ago but several intercontinental zombies have been infected and wander the earth at will, oh wait they are on the same continent which makes a change from China or HK.

Well, @Joe_A mentioned it but he didn't post any photos. So everyone knows that doesn't count! 馃榿

The name always reminds me of Mulva from Seinfeld fame.

Sicura - oh wait, sorry. This is tragic: https://sicurawatches.com/
Felsa (I know it was a movement maker, but it still could be viable as a watch brand)
Epsa (case manufacturer, but again, could be a watch company today)

It is a bit complicated as @TimeODanaos says!

At it's 1973 general meeting Helvetia decided to dissolve and it closed......

User name checks out!

Thanks a lot for that illuminating potted history. Nifty little posts such as yours are a large part of the fun I have coming here 馃憤

Well, I try not to bore too much with my many Helvetia based replies!

There is a more in depth history from 1895 to now here https://www.helvetiahistory.co.uk/history

Thanks. Carl.

Maybe the OP is looking to resurrect an old brand? 馃榿

Biver buying Blancpain in the early 80s from Omega was a genius move.

Fake carbon fiber makes it look fast!
Put it on a highway, I bet it would outrun just about any car. Only one way to find out 馃嵖
