Mystery vintage Omega with black dial

Hi everybody,
First post here!
I've just received my first Omega from Crono24 today. I bought it from a private seller from Austria who's father apparently owned the watch.
The add showed just poor quality photos but I liked the dial and the lugs, there was no pictures from the movement (I know I like risk). It was advertised as a 2639 but I've opened the case and it appears to be 2605.
I've noticed the movement is missing a screw but the watch keeps time well for the few hours I have had it.
Anyway I will have it serviced as the previous owner doesn’t when it happened last.
I have a few questions: What do you think about the dial? I didn't see a similar dial accross the web. it looks a bit like some early seamasters (without seamaster written on it) and has no waffle style.
I noticed that one of the hands has some lume and the other not any more should, I do something about it?
Is the movement ok or should I be worried about anything? Aside from the missing screw I would say it looks pretty well.
I've noticed on one of the lugs a strange mark in the metal, anyone knows what it is?
Any Idea which year it could be?

Anyway thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Looks like a Portuguese import stamp…

so what approx year is the movement?

also did you check the omega vintage database to see if the movement was correct for the reference?

I found a website saying that based in the serial number of the movement, it was produced in 1952 which sounds coherent with omega database so saying the model is circa 1950.
Thanks!

Original black dial with aging that's coherent with many other examples of the period. Nice find!

It's a merely aesthetic decision and totally up to you. Many watchmakers will be able to reapply lume. Do emphasize though that you want vintage-colored lume, mixed to match the lume pips on the dial. You might end up with neon-green lume if you don't...

This is impossible to judge from the distance. It looks pretty clean, and as you noted, it's missing a case screw. Everything else you'll learn from your watchmaker.

Yeah, +1 on Portugese import stamps. Why they had to apply them on the outside of a lug I still don't get...

I think I'll go for without lume of both hands as I like better the looks without and anyway it's almost gone on the whole dial that I don't want to touch.

I've read on another tread that it is to facilitate controls from authorities, lucky me the spider lugs are quite thin so they put on the side instead of on top.

Thanks! It's 35mm so not as big as the vintage jumbo from the same period but still decent size by nowadays standards
