But I had a rocky begging of the year, sick on and off. During jan-march, still a ok, year I tapered off lately because my A race was changed to next October. Any other stravers
I'm fairly new in the Strava game, your 2020 totals are much better than mine - hope to catch with you in 2021!
Managed 229 days with just over 2500 km running, a 700 km improvement on last year. We were hoping to run the Vienna marathon but obviously that got cancelled. Did manage a PB for a half marathon, just under 2 hours, by no means earth shattering but all progress is good. Hopefully I will get to run a marathon this year.
Started on the 20th of October with strava. From smoking more then a pack a day, drinking wine every day and eating as much as possible to a more healthy lifestyle with couscous, no more cigarettes and easy on the wine...
Far less distance... 102 active days and only 642km. All running. Should be less than 2019 as I strained both my ankles (not at the same time !) earlier last year. Getting ready for the first 2021 run though ;-)
Wow that’s awesome, I never smoked or drink. But I understand the challenges. Keep at it, you’ll keep getting better and better. Make 2021 the year
Thnx. I will. In June I'm going to do the Stelvio with some friends. So that will be my goal for this year. Hope I'll make it to the top! After that a nice Italian restaurant of course with a bottle of red wine...
Same as OP I started off the year being sick a couple of times (flu-A and Covid), then the weather in May refused to cooperate, so my totals were way down from the previous year. Here's to a better ride in 2021!
Wow that’s awesome, even covid wow. Let’s keep going, appears to be a direct relationship between exercise and covid recovery. I plan (need) at least 250 days. Higher everything
Well what I done a lot, is commute to and from. I know is not an option for everyone, but is a great way to add miles.
I was doing it for awhile two years ago. Recently brought a gravel bike back into the fold, so maybe I'll start it up again this year.
