Recently I got this beauty:

But I didn't take into account that it was a hair smaller than 33mm, which placed it dangerously closed to the size my daughter likes... Long story short I have seen it twice since I got it :\ To add insult to injury I'm being asked to pay for having it serviced as it is becoming 'her' regular watch...

Anybody cares to recommend a reasonably inexpensive watch guy to do a gasket replacement and CLA? I don't want the case, face, glass, or anything else touched. I'm asking for inexpensive because I have several watches in line to get serviced and the better the value I can find, the faster I can take care of the other ones.

I wish... She has a penchant for vintage watches. She even has the same appreciation as I do for patinated dials. Heck we even share a fairly close definition of that fine line between patina and (dial) skin cancer. My best bet is to pick watches that are too large for her 😁

I'm going to have to ship it anyways so anywhere in the U.S. will do.

@devnull For the minor work, try Paul's Watch and Clock Repair in Sacramento. Raimond should be able to fix you up with only what you ask.
