Hi All,

I retired earlier this year and decided that the Titanium World Timer would be my last Omega for a while. Then they launched the FOIS and I fell in love. Fine I thought, it's a one off and there will be nothing else for a while. So I bought it.

Then yesterday I got an email that my OB in London had received an Apollo 11 50th Anniversary from HQ (their words not mine). The watch was brand new and fully boxed etc, they asked the simple question would I like it?

This was a watch I really wanted but missed out on when it launched so of course I said yes. My wife agreed (after the fact, but that's a technicality 😉). Anyway, it arrived today. Great service from the OB in the Royal Exchange, London. They have helped me build my collection for a number of years now.

One very happy owner with no spare slots in the display left 😜

Josh

Wow, that’s a really fine selection. With a watch on your wrist there may be another free slot!?!

How does one of those just "appear"? Now if only they could "find" some 50th Snoopys.

No idea, but I do know they also got two of the rail master trilogy watches as well.

Almost all of these were delivered in the second half of 2019, to have a BNIB one appear five years later is strange, also some Trilogy's from 2017. They were orbiting away somewhere in the Omegasphere until they achieved escape velocity and were ejected. You never know what might appear.

Congrats; had a very similar experience last month where I inquired at my boutique re a Flight Qualified Pilot - they called on Christmas Eve and said they’d received a pair that day - I was there an hour later. While there I mentioned to the manager how much I’d like a Silver Snoopy. Two days later I got that call!

Love the LEM base you have this on

I should have added, the Royal Exchange boutique have been great to me too. Always super service and they have helped me add my 321 and Snoopy this last year alone. Highly recommended from me.

Congrats on a lovely new watch for a great collection.

Congrats. Technically speaking, I see two slots left though (including one of your wrists) 😉

Amazing selection of pieces 👍 similar thing happened to me in Covent Garden, had a call for a 321 and snapped that up and was offered a 50th anniversary apollo 11 but timing wasn't right, I'm sure its gone to a good home. great service though from the team there!

Thanks All, very happy apart from the fact the other half has taken it away until my birthday in a month. 🙁. Still waited this long can wait another few weeks.
