I left the watch on the winder for over 2 weeks. Today I looked at it and it is exactly an hour faster. I wonder if the hour gear got caught up somehow and it went forward an hour? The reason I said that because the minute hand around about the same as the minute as the clock on the wall should be. Has this happened to anyone before??? Thank you for your answer.

More likely that it was set incorrectly but not noticed until today. ;)

Closed the store an hour early once because of this.

What messed me up even more was that I was in Chicago last weekend, a time zone behind Detroit. ::screwloose:: I'm still tired from traveling and overworked this week. I'm happy with your suggestions. So you don't think our beloved 8500 can mess up a whole hour???

This has happened to me at least three or four times. I think it was a Lou malfunction rather than a Zenith malfunction in each case.

I bet $100 that it is because of human error rather than Caliber 8500 error. :D
