Just an open discussion with fellow member, I've been collecting three years now and I've started focusing fully on omega, this is a recent pickup, with straight lug case, I understand this could be a service dial, bought from original owner, there's a little myth around when professional came, either way, what a treat to own. Thanks omega heads
Indeed I think so too, the lume matches nicely but falling off unfortunately.. I understand the chrono hand is wrong for the 105.003 case?
Looks very nice! The dial is incorrect for a105.003, but still very nice looking. That wide spaced T version would be suitable for 145.012. Wear and enjoy!
Appreciated comments, the dial is for a 145.012 witch is the transitional reference with twisted lugs? I'd like to get the correct ed white dial, but the original owner had a nice story, I almost think it should stay that way for history's sake, thanks again
The 105.012 came before the 145.012 in the twisted lug case. All straight lug cases should have non Pro dials. But if it's got a story, what's not to love?
Ah that's great, I understand the pre moon pre professional etc but the references are a little muddled, although I have a picture of an old advert with a 105.003 case with professional on the dial witch is cool, but must of been something to do with omegas advertising etc, you might like to see it? thank you for your lesson, always learning new things is great
