·Got my Omega Seamaster 550 back from servicing. The second hand would stop/skip and make some bad noises. Runs perfectly now. The bracelet was thoroughly cleaned and nothing was polished at all except for the crystal. Which leads to a question there are some deep scratches on the crystal and my watchmaker didn't want to polish them all the way down in fear of ruining the original crystal. So should I leave it as is or go deeper on the polishing? It's my choice... Great looking watch and the bracelet looks nice although there is some gold wearing off. Also, I can't quite make the serial number out entirely here... it's a front loader so I can't just go open it myself. I think it is 22,278,432 which would put it at 1965? Also, all together I spent $380 on this watch.
