Just bought myself the Speedmaster Moonphase for my 40th birthday

I have also the black Omega leather strap.
Any idea for another leather strap ?

Thank you. I like the Two Stitch Straps. Not sure if it'll be ok on a moonphase or if i need Alligator...

 

I'd stay away from Gator. Too fussy for a sport watch . Stiched and leather works with this watch.

 

But they sell it with gator like strap...like the one i have in black

 

Ah ... heavy padding, Matte finish ... could work.

Congrats and welcome from the first Omega Speedymoon, reference 345.0809, circa 1985

 

That's the one I have on my Co-Axial Speedmaster. I've tried a bunch of straps and this is my favorite by far.

 

Actually I have two with thick matte Gator. I've been buying finer Gator of late and forgot about these.

 

Consider out of ordinary. . black with red stitching (Matches red lettering), brings more sporty look.

I am a big fan of Hirsch Viscount. I think it's the best quality mass produced strap. And it really can be submerged.
