The colour of mine was based on the fact that my Mrs would spot it from my 2001 seamster pro.
So blue it was.

Congrats. I too almost chose the black but ended up going blue. That's not to say that the black couldn't show up at a later time...

·Grey is great, you will love it (more than you already do)! Get the rubber if you can, it's super comfortable and really adds to the contrast of the dial more than the bracelet. I have the striped NATO as well as a change-up in the warmer months (I owe you a pic of that when I take one).
