Thank you for the wonderful and helpful photos. You have convinced me this is my next Omega. I love the orange dial numbers, it really makes that gloss black color a thing of pure class. I am thinking in about a month one will be on my wrist, thank you again!
New member here, but longtime Omega and Rolex guy. Just ordered my PO 8900 orange yesterday, in no small part because of all the great pics you've shared in this thread.
The orange one is really nice looking. I sold my 8500 PO ti because it wore too thick for me. I like how the 2500 wears so much better. Would you mind sharing more pics of the POLE? And comparing and contrasting how the two wear? I understand the newer POs wear much better due to how they configured the end links.
The LMPO wears much more comfortable hands down! There is no comparison due to the weight and the case height difference between the two! To be honest I have let the 8900 go since I was looking for the LMPO for sometime now and as mentioned wears more comfortable. The 8900 is a "better" watch being modern and 6 years later, crystal is better, clasp adjustment, in house movement etc etc. The LMPO is like having a Gullwing Merc that is defin worse than a modern Merc but you can never let it go and enjoy having it..
I might buy the same 8900 again after a couple of years maybe, don't ask me why I did sell it now just did I guess but don't have second thoughts
So you sold your Planet Ocean Orange with the 8900 movement?

Well I have mine at the closet but anyway what's the use of the box? You see it once twice and then sits somewhere forgotten
I guess, I only have the one nice watch so If the box was smaller I would probably use it to keep it in. Maybe I should just use it as an excuse to buy more watches to fill my watch box 馃檮
So much excitement and so much photos and there she goes, what makes you sell it that fast ? Was it to tall , to heavy ?
