I sold it fast because as I said it felt kinda big and heavy yes but to be honest if I didn't get the LMPO limited then I would not sell it of course. It is just that I could not justify having two of them and the other felt better in the wrist plus is rare so I had to decide between the two. The 8900 is beautiful and packed with features, highly recommended, I don't say that I will not buy it in the future maybe in 2-3 years [emoji12]
Your experience reflects mine as well. Sold my po8500 after wearing a couple hours because of the bad weight balance.. Always felt like I was slinging something on my arm. My sea dweller 116600 never has this issue nor does wearing my white gold dd40 which is clearly a heavier watch. I tried the 8900 and felt the same way. The 2500 po lm really is the ultimate and that's my keeper also.

I'm planning to buy the new planet ocean winter Olympics 2018 edition on a blue strap ...I believe it's a Ceramic bezel like the modern ones but anyone know if there is any difference in that model and the current ones besides color combo ?I know the baselworld big blue is full ceramic ..

Yes exactly, I wonder why they have to make PO big and bulky, I wish they had a series of PO that will be like 300m (not 600) so it would feel better, like the 2500 case but modern, size around 42mm would ideal.. I think this would have nailed the game, it should be PO not another Aqua Terra

It seems like the 8900 series just in a different color combo, yes all features are there and ceramic bezel insert of course

Well it's 43.5 mm and ceramic insert..Shouldn't it be less weight then especially without a steel bracelet???My GSOTM is 44 .25 but since it's ceramic and on a strap it feels light to wear...

I have a regular seamaster 300 SMP pro on a steel bracelet and that feels hefty to me...Haven't worn a planet ocean yet but kinda hesitant because it is thicker than the regular SMP...The strap does do it weight justice..But as u know..I hate to have an imprint on my wrist if the dial wears heavy 😉...

You will not have anything imprinted on you wrist bro don't worry!! Go in a boutique and try on the strap 43,5mm PO, see how it feels and then you will know for sure

Pretty sure (though since I have the orange/grey did not explore specs) it would be similar to the one I own (215.92.44.21.99.001) -- and that watch is absolutely amazingly comfortable and light -- you absolutely will love the way i wears on your wrist if the bulky, heavy watches bother you. Outside the aquanaut, best rubber strap i have tried IMO. Will upload my pic tomorrow.

@efthi, you were having your 8900 on bracelet all the time ? I saw you suit up , how was sliding under shirt cuff, how was the balance on the wrist , did you by any chance measure weight since i can't find that info anywhere.

Hello there, I had the watch with the bracelet only and wearing it often during office hours where I am into formal dress code, suited up... It is easier to keep the watch clean and safe like that since indeed was easily sliding under my cuff. Balance is good, it is a heavy watch so it does not wear like the Sub or an AquaTerra etc, I have measured it and it was exactly 200gr, my wrist is 7,25inch so I had 4 links removed and extended the micro adjustment like 2 positions out in the clasp. Watch is not with me since I have let it go and now have the LMPO Limited only (smaller 42mm case plus rare nature so I was hold onto that)

@efthi Thanks on your prompt answer, as always. You are fine gentleman. I have 8" wrist so will add another 20-30grams for sure. I am looking at daily watch and since i can't afford both AT41.5 in blue and PO435 in black i am not sure what to do. My steinhart ovm on bracelet is about 190g and i got use to weight. SHe is much shorter with 14.8mm. I like both Po and At unfortunately so really torn between. Last time ive been in OB they had at 41.5 that i tried and it was light as feather and slim . they had give me to try a titanium 435 but i wasn't in the shirt but in T-shirt and could not tell height. It was light watch since it was on rubber and titanium.....

Thank you very much for your nice compliment! I believe you wrist helps even more in terms of weight and balance, if a 8" incher wrist cannot wear the 8900 who can then right? I believe since you are used already with the Steinhart you will be just fine with the 8900 PO... Maybe you can try harder to find a similar one in another boutique and try it on again
