Here it is, rip it apart!

My analysis:

Most incompetent caseback stamping ever. 2627-17SC. Serial 14348808. Calibeer 355.

Overpolished on the lugs like most of these. Second-most incompetent dial printing ever. Depsite how badly it's done, I think it might be original. Not luminous. The crown is FABULOUS. Original-ish crystal. Fat numbers on the date ring, don't see that too often.

My strap and buckle, appropriate to the time period.

Price was decent for a wearing-watch, $610.

A couple of more pics.

My watchmaker and I agree that the crown and crystal are original, and we will try to save them. Side view showing the crystal's profile and the very-different Omega symbol.

A view from on top where you can just barely make out the Omega symbol of the same shape in the crystal and see the facets of the hands.

This case has been so over-polished I wll advocate for using another KO 2627 I have and swap cases. It was polished too much as well but not so badly that the bezel is basically warped.

I do like the original omega cyclops crystal for the watch.

I do like the original omega cyclops crystal for the watch.

Normally I dislike them but the opportunity to save an original seems more important.
