My new HMT Kohinoor

Got myself this brand new HMT Kohinoor which has Citizen 0201 movement adapted to become HMT 0231 hand wound movement. Btw how closely does it resemble to the Omega C case ?

In USD equivalent, its cost comes out to be $ 40 approx. Has an year of warranty.

Probably the cheapest mechanical watch in world and yet so beautifully made.

A lovely watch. Would love one in blue but quite difficult to get hold of if you live here in the UK.

They don't ship internationally unfortunately! May be private sellers on ebay ?

Nice for Prashant to be mentioned. He was a real advocate for HMT watches.

Never met him in person, but he was a true collector...what a loss to the HMT community.

I checked ebay, but prices are over $150 for new ones. I am not willing to pay that premium. I could try the buying service Shoppre. It is like Buyee Japan, but I have no experience with it. There are a few bad reviews online.

There is a facebook group World of HMT,many honest guys are on it. Some of them are sellers. They can definitely ship it overseas but remember, shipping cost will very easily be above or close to $50 ( watch itself costs close to $40 )

There is a guy dealing with older vintage HMTs whom I found through this group , he Had many of them for 100 rupees a piece which isn't even 2 USDs

I so badly want to post the pics of this watch on Omega C case thread haha! I love the Omega C case with flueted bezel. I hope I am able to get one from someone here on OF but till then this HMT C case would fill the gap.
