So being an Omega enthusiast for years now, finally purchased my first Speedy. Always been intrigued since seeing my Mom’s Omega on a leather strap back in the 80’s. Finally have a chance to join the Speedmaster club after years of browsing the thread.

Fast forward to today…I’ve never pulled the trigger till the new movement, all brushed bracelet, etc. Would have been a more difficult decision for me if the brushed links bracelet came with the Sapphire version. Anti-magnetism, hesalite, brushed links, and all, finally have one to add to my small collection. First was an 8500 41.5 blue face back in 2015. Then the moonwatch, last week. I couldn’t control myself, purchased white dialed SMP 300m and Aqua Terra with orange stitched rubber strap. Instead of a ridicously priced Sub, I ended up with three new timepieces all with factory warranties. I think I’m good for a while.

I find this bracelet setup as comfortable or even more ever so slightly than my DJ41 on Jubilee due to the lighter weight.

What a remarkable group of watches!!!

Congrats on the new acquisition mate! I think at this point you’re due for some vintage next in that collection

Thanks bro. I had a GMT 16700 purchased new when I was 20 back in 1995. It was either the Rolex, or hydraulics for my Honda Civic 😀 Paid $2500 for it, sold it last year for $11,000.

Regretting every bit of it now lol.

Beauty! Great taste in dials!

No, the one link removal feels about right. Just a bit loose some of the time.

The clasp protector is just a bit of 3M auto body tape.

Nice watches!

Mate even if you regret selling it, you still did way better than the resale on the civic lowrider so there’s that haha

Just wanted to share this cool stand for watches. Really cheap at $13 or so.

Just wanted to share that this is the most accurate watch I’ve ever had. Last three measurements, got the same results. Got really lucky with this one.

Same here - only one week of course but nuts-on accurate.

My AT purchased around the same time is running -.4 seconds in five days or so.. Would you have it calibrated?

SMP 300m also new, running +.2 seconds per day.

No, I wouldn't. Both numbers are well within spec. Enjoy them!

Bothers me a bit because not as advertised as it is losing time.

Well, I guess you need to make sure of things.. Master Chronometers
have a -0 / +5 accuracy tolerance,,,according to a quick web search.

Another update. My new bracelet is in. More excited now than when I purchased these watches two weeks ago. Just waiting for the solid end links. So excited to tinker and switch this around between watches. Let me know if you want to see pics on moonwatch, at, or SMP 😀

Wow! What a beauty! Is this for the Speedy? Would absolutely love to see some pics! I didn't even see this bracelet when I
bought mine last week!

Congrats on your new purchase. Share pics 😀 Plan to switch the bracelet around to include the Speedy. Actually, bracelet is designed for the Apollo 11 Speedy. Quick picture here laid on my AT.
