I want to thank my good friend Kringkily for getting me an awesome deal on this watch. Everything is perfect about it, except photos don´t do it the justice it deserves. When direct sun light gets to the watch it really shines!!! The watch came in the plastic package and we had a little issue with the box, but Kringkily solved the problem immediately and I ended up 100% satisfied. It´s the 2nd time I work with him and both times I ended up very very happy with the deal. I will definitely work with him next time I consider getting a new watch.
Gasp! So beautiful! @Kringkily is so money! No offense to the other collectors and sellers on OF but I always look at George's stuff first.
The dial is awesome. In some lights it looks grey and in some lights it looks white. The polished parts of the case shine beautifully under direct sun light. The superluminova on the markers looks awesome in the dark. Already started saving for the next piece!!! This must me one of the worst illnesses. I still don't know if I'll go all the way for the gold piece or if I should first get the 2 pieces I feel I'm lacking in my collection. I think I need a blue dialed watch and I fell in love with the '57 speedmaster white dial/rose gold numerals on a brown strap 331.12.42.51.02.002. I tried this one on at the OB a couple weeks ago and I was tempted to buy it instead of the GSOTM. For the blue dial I have 2 in mind. The first and cheapest option is the Aquaterra 231.13.42.21.03.001 blue dial/blue strap. I like it, I just feel it's too dressy. Another downside of the AT is that there are soooooo many out there. I programmed an alert on watch recon for it and I get tons of them daily, as for the '57 I got none. The second contender is the speedmaster moonwatch 311.93.44.51.03.001 blue dial/blue strap. This one seems like a more versatile option, but it's almost double the price. Sent from my iPhone.
I fell in love the first time I saw one in person. Congrats. I'm glad yours came with the deployant buckle, too.
Fantastic watch, congrats! Love the whitish Superluminova which makes the markers really stand out in direct sunlight. Has superseded my DSotM in wrist time.
