Very excited about this one! AT quartz grey teak dial. A real stunner in my opinion. ive had my eye on the Quartz for a while and since sadly it has been discontinued I decided to jump. My state only has 1 AD with 3 locations. It was the last grey teak quartz left in tstart ate so I snagged it.
Congratulations on your purchase! I didn't know the quartz had been discontinued, but I had thought it would only be a matter of time. The Aqua Terra is a great all-rounder, and the added texture on the dial really gives it some oomph. Enjoy
I really like the Quartz dial a bit better than the 8500 and the case back is stunning. I think I will eventually own the 8500, maybe in a white dial. The quartz has the faceted indices all the way 'round bout the 8500 doesn't. The large date window border takes the place of one. With the line, it's all in the details.
I saw the teak grey at the store and it is a beautiful watch. Congrats! I wonder if the AT quartz is any thinner than its counterpart, the AT automatic?
I'm after the Teak Grey now....I was told there are 2 versions of the quartz....the old version with applied markers & logo...the new version is printed & "Seamaster is under the Omega logo. I certainly would want the original version, looks very classy. Can anyone confirm this ?
In case you're still looking...it is indeed correct that Omega have downgraded the Quartz AT : - no more applied markers - no more adjustable hour hand Shame on them!
I already purchased the "original" version , but thank you. Of course I'm flipping it out this weekend
Just admired today here in Biella in the local Omega seller. Fantastic watch, I am very happy for you.
Great watch. Love the ease of use with a quartz in the collection - especially if you have to wind you're Speedy every day!
Congrats, a very nice watch (even if some purists frown on electric watches) Is that a nick in the hour hand near centre left
