Hi This is my first post, though I have followed this forum for a while. What do you guys think? I have had to send it back based on the quality and lack of descent response from supplier (they offered a free service in 5 years time) and omega not phoning me back. Being a mug I will buy another, I love the design, but the purchase has tainted for me and soured me for the brand.

Good call on not accepting a free service in 5 years. A service would not fix that issue, unless they replaced the actual bezel. Surprised the AD didn't just offer to just get the bezel replaced as opposed to a refund.
I thought we were going to be talking about a Chevy Belair or Corvette from the title. Nope, just another Speedmaster thread.
Is the bezel replaceable? I thought it was fixed, i.e. the info engraved and filled in with lacquer or some kind of ink, and not an actual bezel insert.
Wearing mine right now in the Munich airport lounge awaiting flight home to L.A. Love this watch, have had it since October and it gets more wrist time than even my Pro. Personally I don't think it gets nearly the love it deserves from Speedmaster fans. Excellent modern Speedy. I do wish it was a little thinner but I don't really care overall.
I will be buying a new one this weekend. The retailer offered a new one plus a service but I was annoyed by then and refused the offer, with the state of the UK high street they will probably not exist in 5 years. Omega have asked if they can call me, but they have not bothered. Love the brown strap, I will have to get one of those!
