Yeap, its not water damaged, that's the tip off. These dive watches are notorious for leaking lol.

For the record, I'm not making a negative comment by asking if it's a Watchco product. I've toyed with purchasing the exact SM300 more than once. Vintage appeal and near modern reliability.

Bought mine in Nov. 2012 $2,000 usd
Actually for $2250 got the watchco SM300 watch with mesh and a speed master panda dial delivered to San Diego.

I bought one 3/12 for $1700.

I've got a proper 166-024, but couldn't justify spending the current price for a proper 165-024. Prices on 300s have been on a steady climb over the past few years. They've just become too dear for my desire and the WatchCo at roughly half the price made sense.

Martyd has a 1964 bezel, mine is a 1969. should maybe add a ? just to cover myself.
