You got the dial from the service center? what?
Yes, it was an Omega certified service center. I called 3 different locations asking about this mod, and this one told me they could source it. It took 5 weeks, but they did straight from Omega!

Lume shot please! Ha ha, I’m begging over here 🥰

Haha, I won't forget about this. I'll set something up this weekend to snap a shot.

What do you mean no serial numbers?

If you mean the watch itself, my donor was a 3572.50. But they didn't need any serial numbers beforehand or anything. They told me it was orderable as a service part. Another person on here in my last thread with a parts account posted that they were orderable and included a picture of the one he ordered directly.

Thank you! It felt a bit sacrilegious mixing and matching, but at the end of the day, I got everything that I loved in one package.
After wanting a Speedmaster (a hesalite sandwich) for a decade, my parents got me the watch for my PhD graduation. I used my first promotion as an excuse to kick off this modification, so I know I'm keeping this one forever.

Fantastic looking watch. And thank you for help in making my mind up - I have the dial but was unsure about which hands to get and now I know.

I'm partial to the silver hands for this dial, but yours looks great too!

Still haven't gotten a lume shot yet, but I did get a shot of my two pandas together.

Both look stunning, I'd be delighted with either of those! I'm lusting after a panda so bad!

Congrats!! For the record, I saw OP’s watch at the watchmaker before he even saw it. And I rushed home and sent in my sapphire sandwich for the mod. Will post pictures when I receive it!

That looks great. Just another reminder that what I really want is a white-dial Speedy Pro. I don't care about LEs and SEs and all that. I just wish they would make a white-dial version readily available. I love watches just like everyone here but I'm not made of money and I can't really justify another multi-thousand dollar purchase when I have three Omegas, a nice Seiko and even one Bulova. But if Omega ever drops a white-dial Speedy Pro that is a reasonable price and doesn't require jumping through hoops to get, that might be the one more time I say eff it and buy another one LOL

That's correct. Or at least, they're close enough to black that they look black in all lighting conditions. I'm not sure if they're officially called black.

I very much considered the grey italian hands which I also could have sourced, but I thought it was a bit too many colors on the dial in the end.

Nice. I have a set of the black Snoopy hands for my Mitsukoshi dial in case I ever get tired of the silver hands, but I also have the gray Italian hand set for my white Italian dial, in case I ever get tired of the Mitsukoshi dial.

Some would say you’re greedy! I say, I like you’re style.

Definitely not greedy, since I'm giving the Mitsukoshi dial and handset to my son on a SpeedMaster Pro 3570.50 for his college graduation next year.

Well, maybe greedy, because I'm keeping my reverse panda Speedy Tuesday that he would prefer... 😜

Are all of the recent mods done with eBay dials? There have been so many sold on there the last 2 months.

Lovely, I wish you could get these (or something similar) new.
