    My turn to get "evaluated"!

The story behind this one, I found a reaaally nice Omega-branded Champion 11/16th bracelet, intended for a 2627. Didn't fit, so of course stupid me, I tried to find a watch to fit the bracelet.

    Got lucky, I guess.

Do you know what I did?

I sent it to Omega for service!

As it was relayed to me, the dial was fine, the damage on the case was not repairable, and $670 for the service. I declined it because I didn't have the money at the time, so $140 to get it back. When I get the money collected, back it goes!

So, what do you think it's worth? I honestly don't recall what I paid for it.

No idea Tom, $600 to one person, $120 to another.

After all, it's not a SWISS case ;).

However, a nice Jonell case and a 550 movement (one of Omega's most attractive movements IMO, especially the ball end regulator spring) and I think you can be happy with what you paid.

    PS: what damage?
