Then it's a true rarity. I had read about the 3010 being a 21 jewels version of the 3000, but had never seen one. You truly have a watch to cherish.
The cal 3040 also have 21 jewels. It’s a even rarer bird. No shock protection and a glycydur balance.
Never seen one in the wild. Only found it mentioned in the fourniture listings from Lemania.

I've learned something today. Thank you, from one Lemaniac to another. 😉

I have seen this information and pictures just recently. Great info.Thank you to everyone.
I have the same watch with super compressor crown and case. What a lovely watch. I don’t know ref.nr because there wasn’t any need to leave it to service (and I don’t have enough power to open it with a ball).

It is for me very interesting to see this dial in reside in another case than the one I'm so used to. The effect is at the same time familiar and different. But obviously it works just as well!

You can definitely cherish your Super Compressor as much as I do my watch.

After yet another shitty day working from home, I needed some relief to help me forget for a while all the job-related headaches that keep piling up these days. So I went to my largely depleted watch box, and found in it a small watch that I rarely wear and yet never fails to bring a smile to my face every time I strap it to my wrist: my manual-wind Lemania calibre 3000.

So I thought that I'd share with you guys...

It’s funny how a watch makes you feel!

I bought this rose gold (cap) on a whim in 2008 I believe. Then it was put away for many years. The pictures are from 2014 (mobile phone cameras has come a long way...). I do not think I have used it, nor seen it since then. This thread might get me to look it up again! I remember it being a good size - about 36mm.

I have always thought the dial to be a bit too shiny - there is almost a small build up of varnish around indexes and numerals - and the applied logo. I wrote it on a forum once long ago and someone I do trust Lemania-wise said it was OK. I will have a look again now and/but I still have doubts. It might have got a new varnish layer at some time.

It was really cheap and it is beautiful in real life. The case is in splendid condition with a thick gold cap and a really strong rose tone. Matching colour crown (no logo).

As I said - old pictures (the ones from 2008 are even worse):

edit - what the h...

A 2009 picture! Now when I look at it - this picture actually show more detail.

That (slightly) more recent picture is much better, but this watch deserves even better shots in my opinion.

Apart from the crown, which is probably a replacement, the rest of the watch looks legit to me. Others, including people more knowledgeable than I am, will probably chime in.

😀 The two first pics are from 2014. The last one from 2009. And I do agree I need to take some new ones!

I misread your post, thinking the first pics were from 2008. But it's well time to take advantage of the photo capabilities of modern phones! 😉

Because this is an itch I increasingly needed to scratch, I was on the hunt for another calibre 3000 watch. After missing out on one being sold in Sweden, I stumbled upon a Catawiki auction for a late 1950s gold capped model (ref. 918-3 KO) with an unusual linen dial. I placed a lowish bid, and much to my surprise and delight I won. Here are a couple of the seller's pictures.

I should receive this beauty next week, so hopefully I'll be able to post my own pictures of it soon. I can't wait!

How can it not to? A gorgeous black dial in a super compressor case would do that to most horology aficionados.

With the correct crown (found these other pictures)
