After yet another shitty day working from home, I needed some relief to help me forget for a while all the job-related headaches that keep piling up these days. So I went to my largely depleted watch box, and found in it a small watch that I rarely wear and yet never fails to bring a smile to my face every time I strap it to my wrist: my manual-wind Lemania calibre 3000.

So I thought that I'd share with you guys...

That's a good looking watch. Arabic numerals, sub-seconds and no date. My kinda watch. 👍

Sorry about the sh!t piling up, OP. That’s lousy. Your Lemania, however, is pure pleasure, and I’m glad it has brightened your day. Keep ticking.

Love the numerals! What's the actual reference? What size is it?

Lovely cal 3000 Lemania! 🥰
If you provide a reference number (3 digit number from the inside of the caseback) I would probably be able to provide a catalog image.

I'll try to get a moment to open the caseback this weekend. I'll report back my findings then.

They made the same dial design with sweep seconds as well:
Very interesting. That's the first time I see a Lemania dial similar to the one on my watch, and I absolutely adore these numerals!

Thanks a lot for sharing. 😀

I got curious, so I had to look now. Here is what is engraved inside the caseback: 936-65

So. A 1965 case reference. 👍
Serial number of the movement matching that.
Unfortunately my catalog does not cover much from mid 60s and up.
i got two ref 936 both 1963 (936-63).
They have sweep second versions of the cal 3000, cal 3060.
Lemania had a very modular approach, and finding the same case reference with both sweep and sub seconds is normal.
Likewise the dial designs will vary a lot!
😀

Can you find mine based on the picture? I think it has a 3010. Don't want to crack it open because of the water resistance.

Thanks!

Oh, that is positively lovely! While I have a thing for arabic numerals, I love the indices on yours.

And I suspect the movement to be a calibre 3600.

Checked my old correspondence with the watchmaker. Definitely a 3010.

Then it's a true rarity. I had read about the 3010 being a 21 jewels version of the 3000, but had never seen one. You truly have a watch to cherish.

Not marked on the dial as automatic so I assume cal 3010.
Guess it’s a ref 918.

Mine says hi!

Again a case ref could be had with different calibers. Below a cal 3015.
