My latest vintage Seamaster find.. Tropical chocolatey/copper gilt dial

Thought this one was special enough to make a thread. The dial is just ridiculous. The even patination literally sparkles. Black dial is perfectly aged to this amazing coppery color, especially when the light hits it.

Pretty happy with this find! And I do know that it has a Connie crown on there, but it suits it well enough for now. Hope you guys like it!

Ok. I've been unmoved by a lot of this "patina" business that is discussed, but that one's eye-catching and extra-special with the strap in the coordinating hue.

It's nice to see a dial that has aged that well. Strap color compliments both dial and case.. Very nice find!

Thanks all! I'll try to get some more pics up soon. Debating if I can manage to keep it in the collection, I may have bought too many watches recently, haha..

I love tropics. Are omega tripic watches as highly soughted out like rolex ones are?
