·Thought this one was special enough to make a thread. The dial is just ridiculous. The even patination literally sparkles. Black dial is perfectly aged to this amazing coppery color, especially when the light hits it.
Pretty happy with this find! And I do know that it has a Connie crown on there, but it suits it well enough for now. Hope you guys like it!

·I have one with the same dial. There must be something in the finish over the paint that over time breaks down and gives this appearance. Every one is unique. What kills me is some people refinish these because they want that brand new black color appearance.
What is really nice is how the finish breaks down, but the other logos, paint, and lettering remain in good condition. Contrasts it nicely.

Haha, I agree! It is so even...only a tiny blemish by the 11. I have to assume it was once black, right? I don't think it could have been anything else (if anyone has a possible correction, I'd love to hear)
