My great grandfathers omega

Hi all, I’m new here.
Just inherited my great grandfathers watch. Just after some info on it. Age, model etc. I know nothing about it. I fitted the strap as it didn’t have one. It keeps time very well. Is it gold? I notice it doesn’t have the omega symbol? Is this unusual?

Hi,

it looks like a chronometer 2367 but has serious issues: bezel seems to be missing and the dial has been badly restored.

If my assumption about the reference is right it should have a solid gold case. You will have to have it opened by a watchmaker, take some photos of the innerts and come back here...
Then I will be able to give you a final assessment.
