This is the culmination of many years work, research , window licking, and bad timing. In celebration of a milestone birthday later this year, I had to jump early. And I'm completely smitten. So, a quick look until it's boxed up for a few months...
Congratulations! I currently own one Omega and is the LMPO, I believe it is the most beautiful Seamaster ever made... I have got an early number as well (0044)
Thanks! I'm over the moon. Had a few flutters along the way, but once I had realised it was now or never it all fell into place. Good hunting for yours! @efthi Mines in the 1500's , I'm guessing I can dig up which point of the build period this came in.
Great watch. I'm still considering whether to take a 2500 PO or the Watchco Seamater 300. From more actual Seamasters i like the PO most.
I'm pretty tempted to go for a PO 2500D next year as a long term keeper. They don't seem to hang around long these days either.
Congrats on the acquisition! Are you boxing it up for your birthday? It will take some self control to keep that beauty off your wrist.
Yep, rules of engagement set by Mrs Wiv if I pulled the trigger early. She's away on business for next few days so we have some time together before a boxing ceremony . Also i've spammed this place to death with pictures to fall back on to get me through the next couple of months.
Beautiful watch, I’d love to get one, but my wife bought me my 2500PO for a wedding gift, so I have a feeling I’m not getting rid of it. Wish she bought me an AT instead, lol, that way I wouldn’t feel bad.
Is that a really subtle wave effect on the dial or just a fingerprint on the crystal? Beautiful watch!
