    Hi everybody

I have just received my first vintage watch 145.022-69, and I have a few questions, that I hope you can help me with.

    The watch is: https://www.chrono24.dk/omega/speed...riting--original-decimal-bezel--id6292896.htm

Based on this link, can you then tell me if the lynette is a original one an belongs to a 145.062-69 ST?

What else can you say about the watch?

Since i´m new in this business, I would really like all the inputs you can give me about the watch.

    Thank you soo much.

    Kind regards
    Jakob

Looks like many parts were put together...
dial and movement are not correct for a straight writing caseback.
about the bezel (lünette), as long as you're not the first owner of the watch you'll never know if it was originally on it.
    I'd pass

This watch has been worked on during its life.

The movement is correct for a 145.022-68 transitional. The dial is a service dial as noted by the short hour markers, but given the fact it has an applied logo, I'd wager this was to replace a transitional dial, and the watch started out as a .22-68.

However, the caseback is wrong and however you dress it up, it's a service dial.

For what it's worth, I think the bezel is actually a vintage one.

You'll need to spend 2k+ to source a correct dial and caseback though.

Check out @Davidt's advice about it. Check if it is possible to refund...if you like it though, keep it!

What I can tell you is that if you did buy already you paid way too much for it. 6,000 EUR, about $7,300, is excessive for this example.

Unfortunately I already bought the watch and paid the money. I´m really disappointed, so I will try and see, if I can get the seller to take it back and get my money.

Another case of buy first, ask questions second. Quite often turns out to be a costly mistake. If it’s been mid-described, you will hopefully get your money back, but if not I guess it’s lesson learnt.
