Interesting. I have a set of NOS tritium hands, I never thought to check this. Now I'm going to check.

It's comforting to hear that the second hands doesn't glow... thank you for the information. Saved me a couple of hundred.

Checked again, the original tritium seconds hand doesn’t have any glow left in them anymore.

Check the pictures, where I shine a UV light on the hands, barely glowing even then. The instant I turn of the UV lights they stop glowing, whilst the hour and minute hands have a slight shine for some seconds.

Maybe the lume was especially thin on the seconds hand, as there is very little space between the crystal and dial, thus Omega prioritising the minute hand thickness?

I’d like to learn about these and ask a question. What does the red button do?

It unlocks the bezel so it can rotate.

It seems normal that the second hand doesn't glow. I saw this on every Ploprof i had in my hands.

After trying to wear this beauty daily, i can understand why Ploprofs are not that popular in Asia. Our wrist might be too small and somehow the weight and feel does become a bit more overwhelming even compared to my Deepsea.

Nonetheless, will wear it at least weekly. :)

    I LOVE the Ploprof!
    I love my Rolex SD.
They are both true tool watches meant for real world commercial applications.
    BUT
The Rolex SD looks just like the Sub to a non WIS
The Ploprofs stand out in a crowd and when worn just convey the imagine of a serious tough watch!
Sure they may not be the best watch for a daily wear BUT most people who buy them know this OR truly needed it daily for work when they bought it.

I want a Grand! The 166.093 and ideally with the 1002 (but will be happy with a 1012). Sure there are LOTS of "grands" out there BUT I want one with archives, I do not want a parts watch etc... I know it won't be cheap but DARN finding one if harder than trying to justify the cost LOL

That's a nice mesh bracelet - does anyone know where to source these? Mine is on a period correct bracelet, but I'd love the mesh to compliment it.

I suppose omega still sells the modern version. Ebay or our forum here also have them once in a while. The part number can be seen on one of my photos.
