My first Omega watch

Hi all, Just a quick post. Towards the back end of last year I started to rekindle a love of wrist watches. This started when my father-in-law sadly passed away and left a few watches. Amongst them was a Rolex sub and a corterbert. The Rolex is put away for safe keeping but the Corterbert has a new strap and is currently enjoying life being worn again. I already own a modern Christopher Ward and a Seiko but i really like the vintage corterbert. I’ve always fancied an Omega so I started to browse vintage Omega’s. There are lots about but I finally plumped for a 1967 constellation chronometer 168.018.. The watch came from a professional dealer, fully serviced, guaranteed, in a nice wooden box. It probably wasn’t the bargain of the month but I was happy to pay for the peace of mind.. A few pictures below, plus the corterbert too.

Well done, love the dial on the Constellation. The corterbert is nice as well.

Welcome and congrats! I just got a C-case Constellation with the same exact dial. Very fun to look at.

Very nice Corterbert. A manufacturer with a great pedigree but unfortunately not easy to research as I believe the factory records were destroyed by fire.... Only 10 minutes down the road from the Longines factory, I wonder how many Corterbert employees went there after the factory closed.... Yours is a beauty!, I believe mine to be from the mid 60’s but no way to verify.
