I have owned a number of watches but my favourite will always be the Omega Seamaster 300 (black face sword hands). Automatic. Owner for 20+yrs and was my first purchase of a decent watch. What’s your first great purchase and do you still own it? Photo please

I had owned decent watches before this one, but this is the earliest watch of mine that I still own. And I didn’t buy it. It was a gift from my late father..........56 years ago. Still runs and looks like new.

This B&M was the first watch I ever bought (with the exception of a Swatch that is now long gone) and was my only watch for about 7 years. It travelled with me to Europe, Asia, Australia, The US and Mexico.
I’ve been thinking to sell it to finance an upgrade (not even sure if it would sell for something significant) but I have an emotional connection to it and I enjoy wearing it with brown shoes.
If I had to chose again I would probably go for something different, but I’m not ready to part ways either.

This triple date was my first serious watch purchase back in 2008. It was the only watch I wore for the following decade. Still own it, still love it, and despite the obvious age of this particular photo, I still wear it now once or twice a week.

Back in 2012 this was my first proper watch, the Electric Blue SMP. It was quite financial bite at that time but so glad that I've experienced it because it got me in to the brand. Sold it, upgraded to Speedy Pro and couldn't be happier. But That last SMP that is yet to be announced got me thinking :)
