My First Omega - PO 43.5!

I'm delighted to have received my first luxury watch purchase today. The Omega PO 43.5 on the bracelet. I'm so happy with the watch, it really does feel special!

I had another thread asking for advice, including for the bracelet sizing. The AD actually got it spot on, so no need to change. Thanks to the members on this forum that offered your advice, it was much appreciated.

Although I was tempted to wait for potential updated models, I decided to just go ahead. I love the current version, it fits great, and I wanted it to mark an occasion.

It is extremely comfortable on the wrist, and I honestly do not notice the weight. The bracelet will likely stay for the time being, don't feel the need to pick up the rubber with deployment right now.

It's nice to finally have the avatar updated as well!

Congrats on the new watch. I love mine, the overall build quality and finish on the 8900 Planet Ocean’s are top notch. They also wear great on Nato straps as well 😀

Looks great on the nato! Maybe I’ll give it a try when summer comes around.

That’s lovely! Easy enough to swap over the straps?

With the right tool and patience yes. But if there was someone near me that could do it i would prefer. Because its very easy to scratch the lugs.

Congrats and wear it in good health!

I have a small wrist so I went with the 39.5mm version.

Gorgeous watch - enjoy and wear in good health!

At the risk of sounding priggish, (I certainly don’t mean to), you will be judged for using the word “deployment” when you are referring to a “deployant’ clasp. It’s a common error, and there are many collectors and dealers who make the mistake.

Thanks all, and nice to see your own watches as well! I’m wearing it every day (even in the house) and can’t take my eyes off it 😉
The adjustable clasp has been great, and I do find I’m moving it out through the day as my wrist swells. Perhaps I could add a half link, as I tend to start the day with it half way. I’ll see how it goes into summer.

Mine says hi. How much does the NATO lift it up?
