Dear friends,

I just received my Lemania chronometer from Portugal today. I am very thrilled!!! Sharing some movement photos from seller (as i do not have proper caseback opener) and wristshots by myself. Enjoy!

I am loving the patina on the dial. How's that for chocolates? The movement shows 'adjusted at 7 positions' hence the Chronometer print on the dial. Lemania's inhouse Chronometer standards though if i am not mistaken.

Very very long shot, but if anyone has a caseback number that matches my movement number, pls let me know. Just trying to satisfy the OCD in me. 馃榾 They are so close yet so far away on mine.

Nice piece. I wonder what colour the dial was originally? It's gone a bit too dark for my tastes as you can't see the [Tachymeter?] very well. Case is nice though. 34mm?

I have never seen tobacco smoke stain that dark before. I really like the contrast between the gold numbers and the dial.

The watchmaker marks inside the case-back are more elaborate and detailed than usual. I wonder if the "rust" marking may provide some insight into the cause of the dial damage. Or perhaps it's totally irrelevant. In any case, the dial has definitely aged in an interesting way, that will appeal to some and not to others.

Interesting that the watch was in Portugal, since it was apparently originally imported to the US. Or at least the balance cock was. Definitely unusual to have a US-imported watch with so many adjustments, since that would have had higher import duties. Very often, high quality movements imported into the US were marked "unadjusted" to save money.

If it's a 321, I think I agree something is missing. The same section also appears slightly different than the Lemania CH27 as well.

Figure 1 is an Omega 321 (though 1960s) (from Hodinkee)
Figure 2 is Lemania CH27 (from Hodinkee)
Figure 3 is my own Lemania CH27 (just purchased though, still checking out, so may not be the best guide)

Using a plastic ruler, it appears to be between 32 to 33mm.

Could you kindly teach me how to tell the balance cock was meant for US market pls. Thank you.

Has a three letter code stamped on it that identifies the true manufacturer of the movement.

Lemania calls it the CH27. Same 'family' as the Omega 321.

Is that the missing part circled in red? I zoomed into the photo. Any experts can chime in pls? If something is really missing, kindly help point me in the right direction to source for the correct part.

the minutes jumper parts are missing, so minutes should not jump and may move when chrono is activated

The thought of missing part bugged me enough and i crawled out of bed to give the watch a wind and tried the chrono. Minute chrono hand jumped as it should when second chrono hand passed 12 mark. Is this normal pls? Any reason why this should still work?Tested for 15 mins. Thanks.

It can move but not jump without the part.
With the part, the chrono minutes hands will start moving and suddenly jump to the next index.

Or maybe part have been added after picture and before shipping by the seller.

You are right bro. He added the part during a service. That was an old movement photo. Mystery solved. Many thanks.
