·Thanks for the info; I don't like bracelets, but damn those flatlinks enter my dreams sometimes 😁
If I found one I'd probably not let go

new one on eBay, mixed condition, but looks original: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAM...ATCH-100-GENUINE-1968-UNPOLISHED/313379185041
That one has been sold and relisted a few times but the same seller- not a good sign

When I see this I stay very far away.
W wcm82I've been watching this one as well - seems common to cancel last second if the bids are not high enough, maybe that happened with the previous auctions? The Japanese watches with sky high pricing also make me laugh... but they make folks think the watches are worth way more which would lead to more cancelled auctions last minute.
I've never seen a chipped crown before either, maybe all the buyers back out after they get a deeper look
I’ve bought from this seller. 20 years on eBay, over 3100 transactions, 99% rating.
Why? Very typical for eBay buyers not to honor their purchase commitments.
I doubt this was the case. Seller does an active business for many years and is not going play games with a Seamaster 120. Just sell it and on to the next sale.
If you are looking for pristine vintage watches, Mexico and South America is not the place to shop. If you seek honest, highly original but worn examples and at realistic prices, these countries (including established sellers in Peru) have great deals.
Like this 2914 PAF Flightmaster for example 😀:
And these as well
edit: Full disclose regarding the above Ed White’s originality. Although it did come with a 7912/6 bracelet (real #6s btw), the dial was incorrect as it was actually a 2998 dial........ which was more than fine with me. These are the kind of watches to be found in Mexico and South America.

I view multiple listings for an item as described as an added risk. Agree buyers flake but when it is a seller out of Brazil it makes me more cautious especially with a heavily faked watch. Obviously, hearing that you have had positive experiences with the seller changes the analysis but without that knowledge I would stay away if I were interested in the watch.
Perhaps I’m missing something. Why do you describe this SM120 as “heavily faked”?
