My childhood watch

I recently ran across my childhood watch, and I’m trying to figure out what it is. I contacted Omega and they told me they could not provide me with the information. I have been looking at thousands of photographs and still cannot come up with it. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your assistance

could be a reference 2639 but this can only be confirmed by opening caseback

I live in Panama city Florida and cannot find anybody qualified to pop the back off of it. The back is plain and I can find no notches to remove it. I guess the next time I travel I will take it with me and find a jeweler that knows what they are doing.

From the shape of the case back I believe it appears to be a ref 2891.

it looks close, but mine has all 12 numerals on the face, and the second hand is divided into quarters with crosshair. I find pictures close to it, but not with all numerals and crosshair secondhand

There were many different dials offered, finding an exact match may not be possible. Having the case opened to get the reference number will be the only way to know for sure.

You can pop off the caseback by yourself all you need is a little trust in yourself and this little nifty tool:
